You thought playing guitar was hard? Then meet Mr. Martin Molin, 33 year-old lead musician of Swedish band Wintergatan, who invented a new instrument with mind-blowing complexity. He calls it Wintergatan’s Marble Machine.

This otherworldly musical instrument is completely analog, powered by a manually-operated hand crank and the sound is produced by 2,000 metal marbles that pass through the instrument.

Unfortunately the machine that took two years to build is going to be dismantled soon. However, the artist promises he’s going to be making a small version of the Marble Machine for live performances.
